The aim of this blog is to enable all fans of Formula 1, and other Motorsports, to understand the technology of the cars in an easier format. There will be car updates, team reviews and throwback articles, all in the name of tech!

I'm a second year Aeronautics student at the University of Southampton, so I'm using my degree knowledge and passion for technological development to aid my articles, hopefully making them enjoyable to read, but to also show how a Formula 1 car develops over time.  I've had work experience placements at Williams, Xtrac and Lotus, all enhancing my CV as I strive to work in Formula 1 in the future, as an Engineer.

In terms of experience in the media industry, I've been at F1Connection since early July 2014, starting off as a Journalist and ending up as their Tech Analyst, a great platform for me to showcase my tech articles. I also currently write for TXM Recruit, writing their race preview articles, 'Formula 1 Friday'.
